Soft wash

Low pressure and a cleaning mix that kills mould at the root. Then a gentle rinse. Nothing gets blasted off.

The questions we get asked

Will pressure washing damage my paint or render?
It can, if the pressure is wrong for the surface. That's why painted and rendered walls get a soft wash from us. Low pressure, and a cleaning mix that does the work instead of force. If the paint is already flaking, we'll tell you before we start.
What's the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses force to lift dirt. It suits hard ground like concrete and pavers. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning mix that kills mould and lichen at the root. It suits walls, roofs and timber, where force would do damage.
How fast will someone call me back?
About five minutes during work hours. That's not a sales line. Your enquiry goes straight to a home specialist, and we time it. Ring after hours and we'll call you first thing the next morning.
Who turns up to do the work?
Our crews. They're insured and police-checked, and they work to the same standard on every job. We price the work, we manage it, and we're the ones you ring if anything isn't right.
Is the cleaning mix safe for my garden and pets?
We cover or rinse plants as we go. Tell us about ponds, pools, pets and anything delicate on the call, and we'll plan the job around them. We'll also tell you if pets should stay inside while we work.
Why do you cost more than someone with a hire unit?
Sometimes we do. You're paying for someone who checks the surface first, turns up when we said, and comes back if it's not right. Repainting a wall costs far more than getting the clean right the first time.
Do I need to be home?
Usually not, as long as we can get to the job and you've told us about gates, dogs and alarms. We use your outside tap and a power point, so tell us when you book if you don't have one. You'll get photos when we're done either way.
Can the price change once you've started?
Not without asking you first. The price we write down is the price, and it lists exactly what's included. If we find something that changes the job, we stop and ring you before we do anything about it.
